I like Kuhlman's Singletary reference. As to the rest, they are all retreads.
Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!

Why do Cowboy fans want him back so bad? He was great in his time (15 years ago!), but do you think he's willing to work and dedicate all his time to coach a football team again?

He has a great "draft" mind. He was the reason for the teams sucess, not Jerry Jones. He can pull off some unreal trades ( just ask the Vikings). When he coached the team 13 years ago, not 15, he was probably the best head coach at that time. I would like to see him back because he and the Cowboys had nothing but sucess during his tenure.

I dont see why that couldnt happen again.

edit to add: Say the Steelers slip into mediocrity for the next 10 or so years and they have an opportunity to get Bill Cower back. Are you telling me you wouldnt want that?

No need to answer, I already know what you would say.

Hard to believe not a peep out of any chance of Jones - Johnson getting back together. Sometimes these feuds are blown out of proportion in the media as to degree but evidently not in this case. The rift between them must still be too deep. I would have to believe it's probably more Johnson not "trusting" Jones again and not wanting to go through putting up with his aggravation again.

If you watch the Fox pregame show and listen to his basic ideas about football, yes he's a bit "loud" but you can see the genius there as he comes up with a number of fresh ideas. He would still be a very "dangerous" coach in the NFL and I'm glad he's not going back to the Cowboys.

Wonder how many more Super Bowls the Cowboys would have won if Jones would have kept his super-ego in check and allowed Johnson to run the football part of the team? It's scary.

I've emailed a few columnists in Texas. They both said Jimmy just flat out has no interest in coaching anymore. I don't think there's much of a rift between Jerry and Jimmy anymore. They've both mellowed out a bit with age and Jimmy has complimented Jerry on the air more than once (actually, at one time I thought he was politicking for the job, but apparently not).

I still laugh when I think about Jimmy during an interview calling Jerry, Michael Jackson because of Jerry's cosmetic surgery image
