Are you on drugs? Both Thorpe and Halas were inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1963.

There's a new rock and roll band from England called the Beatles. I hear that they might be pretty good.

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

I would respond to this about Thorpe and Halas; but I'm in deep mourning at the death of Ernie Davis.image

How long will it be before I can see a naked lady in a movie? This decade is so dull. :-)

I've been buying and opening a lot of Topps Baseball card packs lately looking for that Charlie Hustle guy. My allowance is a quarter, so every Saturday morning I run to the local candy store and get my five packs. It's ok though if I don't find a card of that guy ... those 25 cards make my bike sound like a motorcycle! There is one crazy kid that I meet at the candy store every Saturday. He also buys 5 packs with his allowance ... except the IDIOT opens only 2 packs and puts the other 3 away in his closet. He says that when he gets to be an adult the packs are going to be worth a lot of money if he keeps them closed. I stated laughing when he told me he thinks they could be worth as much as Ten Dollars each!

That's nothing. I know the owner of our grocery store here in town. He's had 4 cases of 1952 Topps High series that he tried pawning off on my for $5 a piece. I told him they'd be worth more at the bottom of the ocean then trying to waste his time selling them. He's had them for over a decade....if they aren't worth anything by now they never will be.
