1-2" overnight. Lots of traffic issues this am since we southerners don't quite know what to do when it snows (besides driving fast to get out of the weather!)
Always interested in St Louis MO & IL metro area and Evansville IN national bank notes and Vatican/papal states coins and medals!
I halfway wish we could get snowed in, if only for a day or two.
Hasn't snowed here in Georgia's Golden Isles since the freak snowstorm of 1989, and I was in NC then, myself.
The temp's probably high 50s to low 60s at the moment, somewhat breezy, with overcast skies. They say it's gonna rain later.
So much for my detecting plans. (Actually, those were pretty much waylaid by the daughter's doctor appointment, anyway.)
It's a bit warmer today.
If it rains and I am stuck indoors tonight, I plan to do more pawing through the 15-pound Darkside bulk lot and 20 oz. Darkside silver I just bought from the 'Shroom. (Thanx, Don- they are here, and looks like a great lot- I appreciate it. Payment was snailmailed yesterday.)
Here in Northern California we keep all the snow up in the Sierra, the most exciting thing we get is fog. After being here for 4 years I think I have forgotten what rain is
About 2" here in upstate SC, but we apparently missed the freezing rain. Last time we had ice in "05" it took me a month to clean up, so I am a "Happy Camper"
Of course snow in Montana doesn't effect us like a lot of other states. As a kid I never had a "snow day", even on a blizzardy morning. The first day I ever got off of school was when Mount St. Helen blew.
In Houston it snowed once when I lived there. I was prepared for the rush hour traffic, but there wasn't even one car on the interstate. I was the first employee to work, and I didn't see a soul for the first four hours of my shift. Two employees showed up in the afternoon.
Prost!
Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.
All we got was stinkin' freezing rain. I got the day off school, but I had to go in anyway to finish up a proposal and got home at 10:30 pm. Blech.
What I want is either a freakin' ice storm like we got here in GA back in the 80s when I was a kid, or about a foot of snow to last a week. If I don't get it, I'm moving to where it actually snows. lol
I almost think I would have rather had the snow, We have been under a Tornado watch and warnings since 3 AM this morning. Lots of green lightening high wind and just a torrential downpour for a couple hours

I hope all goes well.

Yes, but we tough Northerners don't cancel school just because there is a little snow on the ground.

Just joking, but no snow this winter ( just storm force winds and rain ) so far.
