Nice, where and how much? I would guess $3000

My estimate of the EAC grade is 40 sharpness, net 35 for dark color.

WoW, there's a scarce coin. Usually when you see granularity on a Classic Head cent, it's corrosion, but I do believe there's actual luster there! image

I'm sure others will find it quickly, so guess away 'till then image

Well it looks like this thread is about to die so... instead of bumping it... I'm going to be picking it up from Anaconda, still working out details on the cost (trade+cash)

Edit: Was listed at $2450, and I'm in love image

That is a very nice coin, most Classic Heads I've seen look like they've been put through a meat grinder and then stored in salt water. Congrats on the purchase.

There's a tiny spot under "E" of ONE. Deduct 30 points. It's an EAC Good-5 now.

That is a really tough date. I have an XF-45 with nice surfaces, but it's hopelessly laminated, and I can't get the lacquer off with any known solvent.

Edited to add: mine is a "commercial" EF-45, EAC Fair-2. image

My estimation of the EAC grade is provided for your amusement only. I still think it is 40 sharpness, no deductions for defects, just 5 for dark color.
