...1999 sets are now? Besides being the first year for the state quarters, Wasn't it was after more people started collecting the state quarter sets that there were more people wanting to buy than had them to sell and that made the price go up so much?

I wonder if the same thing could happen with the Presidential dollars too?

I think the craziness in the aftermarket for the '99 sets was more a function of the distribution mechanism than anything.

Yes, it was the stupid two sets per address limit, with no exceptions for dealers.

Everybody should be on to it this time. People just didn't think about the sets in 1999. I would think the big guys are lining up waiting for the opportunity to purchase these by the boatload.

I think the first year will be a sellout and no specific premiums will be there. But, give it a couple years and there will be winners to be had!

I think the only way the 2007 could be like the 1999 sets if they limit buyers to 2 sets per household like they did the 99's.

My dealer buddy just ordered sets to be delivered to 123 Main Street Suite A, 123 Main Street Suite B, and so on. All got delivered. But I think he sold them out too soon.

Otherwise the same coins are in the Silver set as are in the Proof set are in the - just being able to buy the Prez proofs set.

The silver is the key for 1999.

I think there will be some burnout this year. When the the state quarters stop and people still have the itch to collect I think the presidential dollars will pick up. This probably means that the first and possibly the second year of this series will be in high demand.
