My Lincoln Registry set disappointment is >>>>>

I was really hoping that PCGS had plans for the New Year to create an exclusive home for my 05 & 06
Lincoln business strikes. However, January is ending soon and there is no sign of an upcoming change.
I was secretly hoping that, just maybe, business strikes would be required in the Complete Set. Afterall,
doesn't complete mean lacking no parts? I thought this change could be a start to ending the bs-sf war.
Seems to me, this eventually will happen and PCGS could've started the year off by giving us a ray of
hope that this war may end this year. So, goodbye January! Looks like my business strikes still need a
home and my disappointment shall continue.

I wouldn't count on it ever happening if it hasn't happened by now. There is obviously a reason why PCGS has chosen not to move on this issue.

Do what I did at the end of last year and just accept the fact that you are not going to receive credit for seeking out and owning true business strike lincolns for your set (go to the last post on the bottom of the page of the "famous" thread)

Gee, what I would give to find out their thinking on this matter...nothing but a stone cold response. Regretfully I was unable to attend FUN and I see PCGS will not be at the ANA North Carolina Show. Is anybody going to be at a show where Ruth or Hall can be cornered and forced to give a simply answer. UFB!

If this was a "big issue" with me, and I had both the 2005 and 2006 "P" and D Lincoln cents from both the Mint sets and the business strikes in PCGS holders, I would post them as a group in the Collectors Showcase section of the PCGS Set Registry. If I felt it was important enough to me, I would also link my signature bar here on the message board to that showcase so that EVERYONE who wanted to see my four 2005 and 2006 non proof Lincoln cents would be able to do so. THAT is what I would do until PCGS gets around to adding the coins to the Set Registry. Good luck, Mike.

My opinion. I don't think it has anything to do with Carol. PCGS has just not yet formulated a policy on this subject. There are reasons for this and it would be nice if Ron explained them. This, as everyone knows, is NOT the only instance where PCGS is not doing what the vast majority of posters would like to see. The biggest problem I see with PCGS is their lack of communicating with their customers about issues and or policies. If they had a dialog with us lots of the negativity would go away. JMHO. Steve

You think you have it bad check out this set I put together. #10 on the list, yet is an order of Magnitude more difficult, and important than the other sets.
