Greg Maddux has a real bad one.

    ?????

    Sad. Just sad.

So, when one of the PSA/DNA authenticators gets a photo with this "autograph" on it, how do they know it's real?

It almost remindes me of my signature. image I "signed" all of my practice balls when I played HS baseball.

I don't care for Roger Clemens' signature. Mantle and Ted Williams are real nice. Stan Musial is nice.

ahhh I totally forgot about Rivera, he does have a really nice signature.
  • my sister has a Bobby Hull autograph on a puck.

Bobby shot the puck at my dad who was making a delivery to the old Chicago Stadium and watched a little Blackhawks practice. Dad picked it up and Bobby signed it for him. Wish I had it to show.

I like Walter Paytons with the big swoops.

You'd be disappointed if Manny didn't sign his in heiroglyphics, wouldn't you?

Roberto Clemente and Richard Petty have classic signatures.

Glad so many Braves made the "good" list here.

Mantle and Duke Snider both have nice sigs.

That Vernand Morency signature is a joke. It's my new least favorite, topping Stanislav Neckar (NHL defenseman, whose signature on his 1994 Classic cards looks just like the wavy line that represents water on ESP tests).

My favorite is Johnny "Blue Moon" Odom. He signs the name with nickname, and even puts quotation marks around the nickname.

I'm surprised to see that Barry Bonds was listed by so many as their least favorite. I think he's actually got a pretty nice signature. I wonder if it's more that people don't like Bonds as a player, and less that they don't like his signature.

Barry's "sit down sign for money" sig is actually quite nice. Most people have only seen the the B____B____s form though.

Hey, I love the replies with scans - when I have the time later, I'll try to post some scans of my favorites. I agree with one previous post in that Charlie Gehringer has one of the most beautiful autographs ever. One of the worst is most certainly Greg Maddux, I have a baseball of him on display and every person that sees it asks who the heck it is. Both Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris have nice autographs....and come to think of it, Willie Mays may have the ugliest. Early in his career his signature was beautiful, but now it just looks like a scribble (especially the "W"!). That Morrency autograph is definitely the worst I have ever seen, just purely pathetic.

Here are a few photos that I have on file: the signatures I like are the Grant Hill (Check the nice sig on the Emotion card) and the Roger Maris. I will try to post a Gehringer autograph later - beautiful signature.
