Krause Catalog

What countries/denominations are bringing over catalog?

Under catalog?

At catalog?

How accuarate is Krause with their current pricing?

From my own experience, I have found the following to be underpriced:

British Honduras: late 19th to early 20th century silver with no problems
Cyprus: George V silver coins with no problems (except 45 piastres)
Straits Settlements: Victoria 20 cent pieces
Venezuela: mid to late 19th century 20 centavos

I have found so many to be overpriced it would be too hard to list them all.

In my recent experience French and Russian coins are bringing well over catalog.

Eye appealing Cuban Gold and Silver is very strong. You can throw away the price guides for much of it when at auction.
  • Based on recent EBay auctions, Krause is quite low on Japanese Puppet Governments in China (East Hopei, Manchukuo, Meng Chiang, etc.)
