Akron Ohio Coin show report 1-28-07
I brought a 2006 20th Anniversary silver eagle set and 2 partial sets that were missing the Reverse Proofs. I was able to sell them to a dealer for $350. I then bought a 1909-S Lincoln in ANACS F-12, a 1858-O PCGS AG-3 Seated Half, and a 1886 ANACS MS-63 VAM-17 from the same dealer. I picked up a few proof sets that looked nice. I also bought a 1853-O AU gold dollar from Denny Lebo. My last purchase was a 1882 Morgan dollar with nice luster.

What do you think it grades?
Overall, I had a great time at the show. There were about 25-30 dealers there. There weren't that many PCGS and NGC slabs, but there were a lot of SEGS, and ANACS coins. I'll post more pics latter.

<< <i>was Akron Coin or Affordable Coin and Jewelry there?? >>
I don't think so, but I am not familiar with either company.
Nice Snag!

As for the Morgan, looks like an excellent example and i'd say at least MS-65. But i don't really know the series...at all.
<< <i>I am about an hour and a half away from akron and was considering coming to the show. Would it have been worth the drive? I would have mainly been looking for seated dollars and liberty nickels.

There weren't that many seated dollars, and I didn't see even one nice liberty nickel; so it probably wouldn't have been worth the trip for you.
Never been to Akron's show. Will you be attending the Ohio Coin Expo in Cleveland next month? I'm going there before the auto show.
