I picked this up in Turkey last year. Not sure what it is except gold.

I don't know for sure but I think it's Byzantine, Constans II & Constantine IV (641-668 AD).
I also think it's possibly a fake.

I see a photo of it on the first link that pops up.

It's a tourist piece. Modern manufacture. It might be gold, but hard to say for sure from the picture.

Also, a word of warning. Had you been caught attempting to remove a genuine ancient coin from Turkey, you likely wouldn't see internet access for a long time (much less food or the light of day).
