<< <i>Totino's Party Pizza . . . fake cheese, mmmmmmmmmmmm. Can eat about three in one sitting! >>
Those are good too, and only 99 cents. I think it's because they're small and thin that they bake up better than the thick, large, "rising crust" varieties.
Does anyone here remember those pizza pockets you put in the toaster years ago? I can't remember what they were called but I miss those!

While I admit they're much better in the oven than in the microwave the Mama Celestes cook up better in the zapper than any other pizza I can think of.
Side note: I've got a buddy who insists he can eat 12 Mama Celeste pepperoni pizzas in one hour. We told him we'd buy them if he does it. Details to follow.
Cooking pizza in a microwave?? There is no way a pizza could possible come out half way decent.
The best way to cook a frozen pizza is stick it in hot oven on bottom shelf to crisp the bottom...............then stick under broiler to really melt the top.

The microwave Digorno actually comes out really well but the Red Baron minis do just fine in the microwave. I work somewhere where a microwave is available but not an oven. It tastes great!
Buitoni toaster pizzas, those were the round discs that you put in a toaster with sauce and cheese on the inside. Those were awesome but I believe they stopped making them in the 80s.
Elio's used to be good but they suck now. Celeste is pretty good. I like those large Tree Tavern frozen pizzas, almost the size of a small pie!

It's not frozen, but I'm a big fan of my wife's homemade pizza. Of course, anything she makes is "sit down" restaurant worthy. That's why I've put on 25 lbs since we were married in 1998.

I second this one!! Jacks Naturally Rising crust pizza is the best frozen pizza!!
And for a buck or 2 more we have been getting into Papa Murphy's take and bake pizza. Its not frozen and made fresh and you take it home and bake it. With all the coupons they send out its only a buck or so more than a good frozen pizza. But coming from Chicago nothing beats a true Chicago style pizza like Uno or Ginos!
I used to like Digiorno's but now for some reason, it tastes like vomit to me. Im not trying to be gross or witty...it really does. I was on a big kick for Digiorno's at one time, maybe I just had too much.
Now, it's usually Red Baron or Tombstone Brick Oven.
But the best is...especially after a few beers....english muffin with that pizza sauce in a jar (I think Ragu makes that sauce but there is another brand that is better and I cant think of the name)...topped with mozzarella and a couple slices of pepperoni. Toss it in the nuker until the cheese melts...MAN ARE THOSE EVER GOOD!!! Give em a try. We just call them Pizza Muffins.

I used to make those 20 years ago, but I would use Jimmy Dean sausage instead of pepperonis.

I remember 1970 was the first time a friend of mines mom made us "homemade" pizzas by putting tomato paste on bread and topping it with cheese and popping it in the old toaster oven for 10 minutes. Nothing store bought has ever come close....

One thing about frozen pizza - the only reason to eat them is for convenience. I know that microwaving a pizza is not the best way to make one, but if I have to wait for the oven to heat up, and then 20-30 minutes to cook it in the oven, I'm just calling the local pizzeria. I could be eating much better pizza in shorter time that way.
But, I used to love the Stouffers French Bread Pizza's in the microwave, and the DiGiorno's microwave pizzas will do in a pinch. I have had the CPK pizzas from my regular oven, and they are probably the best.

Man, I used to love making those as a kid! Even now, I'll make a few english muffin pizzas for a late night snack, they are great! One issue, with microwaving them - you have to toast the muffin first, right? Then, when you nuke it, if you leave it in too long it gets soggy. I used to have an old toaster oven (they still make those?) and that was the best way to make them.
toaster ovens definately are the best way to make pizza muffins. I dont own one and I have thought about buying one just so I can make those again! Yes, they make them still...go to your local Wal Mart!
Although, I have to say, I dont mind the muffins a bit soggy from the microwave. I kind of like the texture LOL
MMMMMMMM... a halved sourdough baguette w/ smoe spiced-up Ragu, cheese, and bacon sounds good right about now... generally pizza is a delivery or order-out food, but if I have 20 minutes and the proper stuff, there's just smoething about piping-hot homemade
Kobe Who? At least Dwyane pays proper respect to Da Big Aristotle
It use to come down to what was on sale a la the cheapest. I then came to the conclusion that they all tasted like crap. I finally found one....Amy's. I'm a spinach freak; and their spinach pizza is awesome.

I'm at the point where I don't like any frozen.
For a short while - California was my favorite - last time I had the cheese pizza - I think the carton would've tasted better.
