There's a lot you can trust.

For example - JT Sports and Zane Bats.

These would be a good place to start.

    Do ya get SCD?

I got into collecting game used bats about 5 years ago and have over 50 now. I collect mostly Angels players (past and present) and star bats (i.e., Griffey Jr., Sheffield, Delgado, etc). My prized possession is a 1976 Bicentennial bat of Brian Downing (my childhood idol). I'm still trying to finish off the last couple of bats of the starting 9 from the 1986 Angels. Before you start spending money, familiarize yourself with labels, markings, player usage characteristics, and find yourself reliable suppliers.
  • I have a few game used bats myself. The best place to get them is eBay. Just incase you wanna see, I put some tips on my site to tell whether or not a game used bat is real:

That's how I'm getting the Marcus Thames bat, def a great giveaway.

Arsenal-Until this post, all the bats I've gotten were from the players themselves. Both Cabrera and Harris played minor league ball in my hometown, so I was given the bats.

Stone-No, I don't get any hobby magazines, but thanks for the links!

    Kyle-Thanks for the 411!
