Up for grabs is a 2007 Chinese Silver Panda, just released!

The 2007 silver panda features an all new design and continues the popular mother and baby panda theme. The Chinese silver panda coins are truly works of art and considered by many to be one of the most beautiful silver coins ever minted.

The coin is brilliant uncirculated with a gorgeous "proof-like" finish. The background has a brilliant mirror finish while the images are heavily frosted. Here's the scoop on the 2007 Silver Britannias and Libertads...

The 2007 Britannias are available directly from the British Royal Mint for £16.95 ($33.23) each with free post to the UK. Their US price is slightly less at $32.90 ($27.95 for the coin plus $4.95 for airmail). These are way too expensive IMHO and I will not be carrying them. Coast to Coast Coins will eventually have them for slightly less than the BRM.

The 2007 Libertads are only available in huge wholesale quantities to get a decent price so most US dealers (including myself) will not fool with them. There is a 10,000 coin minimum wholesale order at something like $2.00 over spot (roughly $156,000). Unfortunately, I am not interested in mortgaging my house to offer these.
