Help, Got back Cracked Slabs from PSA

What is the protocol for this. I just got back my Tall Boy special and four of them are cracked quite bad. How do I go about getting this fixed. Would like to hear from others who had the same problem.

Thanks

Man that sucks. With what they whack you for return shipping, that should never happen. I'm sure they'll make good on it though.

The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

what I want to know is will they let me return them at the Sun Times show in CHicago. I dont want to have to pay again to send them back.

You call them first thing Monday morning and explained what happened.
    Give them the submission number.
They should re-slab it for free.

Sloppy at the USPS... PSA will take care of you and you may get vouchers to cover your shipping charge. FWIW, I've never rec'd a damaged case from PSA -the items are always well packed.

I wonder if the cold weather had anything to do with that happening?

    Did you contact them?

I'm pretty sure this is not the first time this has happened. And, IMO, you shouldn't have to pay a penny for ANY part of the process at this point. This is PSA's responsibility - and I'm betting they want to make good on it.

Further - I can't see why they wouldn't take them at a show - it will save them money since they will be most likely taking stuff back anyway.

Sorry to hear about this - good luck

  • I had a few come back cracked one time. I called customer service and they told me to send them back to get reslabbed free on a new submission, but I had to pay for shipping them there. If you drop them off at a show that would be better. This was 4 or 5 years ago though so they may have changed their policy. Good luck.

    The merch was insured.

    PSA will solve the problem.

Just give them a call on Monday.

Thanks for all the advise. I have some scans that I will post later of the slabs. Some are pretty bad. The outside of the box was not damaged at all, so I was surprised at what I found. I would prefer to drop them off at a show as I have some other mechanical errors that need fixing as well

    Here is one of them.
