1891-CC Morgan dollar VAM assistance

Hello again.

I am trying to find someone that has seen the following on an 1891 CC Morgan, or other Morgan for that matter.

I have tried to get some good pictures, hopefully these are good enough. If you look above the ear you will see horizonal lines where there is normally hair detail. It is an AU58 so I realize that there has been wear over this area, but the horizonal lines are into the surface, as if they were there from the strike. Hopefully you can see it but they seem to have their own relief.

I have looked through the VAM book but have not seen anything like this.

I am curious why the striations would have relief, after striking? Also, does this decrease the market value of the coin? Although I love it and dont plan on selling, just curious.

I have a number of coins that have this and I have assumed it was either planchett flaw or part of the minting/rolling that did it.
