ROUND ROCK, Texas (AP) -- Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan was hospitalized Friday and in good condition with an undisclosed ailment, his son said.
The 59-year-old strikeout king checked into Round Rock Medical Center for treatment of recurring symptoms from a pre-existing medical condition, Reid Ryan said.
Reid Ryan declined to specify the condition, but said it was discovered when his father had double-bypass heart surgery in 2000.
the Express ain't going anywhere.....he's gonna strikeout at least 12 in the next old timers game......Gwynn- gone, Ripken- strike 3, Boggs- closest thing to a STRIKE-OUT MACHINE!! Murray, Bench, Yaz, Ryno, Molitor, Brett- ........hey, hey, hey, goodbye.....
Houston has one of, if not the, best medical staffs in the world. I can assure you that he's in the best hands possible.
Thoughts and prayers go to a speedy recovery
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
