Gonna enjoy the "15 minutes of fame"

Greetings, I hope all is well for everyone. Many if not all of you are aware of the site I built in an effort to help fellow collectors from getting burned on counterfeit minor league cards of Cal Ripken, Jr. After getting burned and seeing other people get burned I only wanted to do my small part with the help from other great Ripken collectors and fans in getting the word out.
A couple of months ago, Sports Collectors Digest and Beckett agreed to run information on Cal's minor league cards in an effort to help get the word out. With the all of Fame vote announcement coming and the possibility of an influx of fakes on the secondary card market, time was precious to say the least. With all of that being said, I'd like to take a moment to applaud the Sports Collector Digest for running a great article in their 2-2 issue on counterfeit Ripken minor league cards. The author, Doug Koztoski, did a fantastic job and I couldn't be any more pleased. Doug was outstanding to work with. In addition, I have to also applaud Beckett for an article in their February/March Baseball Card Plus. As with the folks at SCD, Kevin Haake at Beckett was great to work with.
Yes it's awesome as a fan of Cal to be included in some small way in a pair of issues that features Cal on the cover. More importantly, information that has simply been unavailable on a national level now has access by fellow fans and collectors. Much appreciation to the folks at SCD and Beckett. In addition, thanks in advance to PSA and Kevin Glew for an upcoming article in the SMR. Be sure to take a look at the articles and don't get burned on counterfeits! Have a great day!
