How difficult is it to get authorized bidder status at the Goldbergs?

I am taking a look at their upcoming auction and it looks great. I wanted to bid on some items. I have a "permanent bidder number" which I tried to use to bid online, but for some reason the system is not taking it. I know that this number is pretty old, and I have not used it in a while. Does anyone know how difficult it is to get an authorized bidder status these days at the Goldbergs? I assume that they have closed their inactive files, and I am wondering how complicated the current process is to be given bidding authority.

You need a pulse.

Seriously, it is not difficult. Simply apply for an online bidder number and wait a couple of days for clearance. If you bid at other auction companies, then you can use them as reference and then you are "in".

Not a problem, just do it in advance, and then don't bid on any of the lots I'm bidding on.

Thanks, guys. I was putting in the wrong email address as I was bidding, so that was the problem. I have so many email addresses because of spam issues that I forgot which one I used when registering with The Cousins. I am all set, now!
