Hold you high!

I just wanted to take a moment and say thanks to everyone on here. This past year has been one bump after another and I'm just glad I can come here for refuge every day. I was telling someone just the other day that I feel fortunate to have this place. Even though I've never met any of you, I consider all of you my friends. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for creating a great place to hang out and talk about one of the things we are most passionate about. In fact, I think somedays if I didn't get on here I would go crazy. It's also really helped my marriage too. Not that it was in dire straights or anything. But it's given me a chance to give my wife some time to herself every night to do something she might want to do. It's hard moving back to your home town (mine that is) and not knowing anyone really. It's harder on my wife because she knows no one. We are both too busy with work and school to go out and meet people. So, I know she's relieved that I have found this place. I ultimately hope to meet some of you someday, but till then, thanks again.

Aw shucks...would you believe I feel the same way? Are you
saying good bye?
BTW: Cubby=Cub Fan
I seperated from my wife about 8 months ago and I think things would have been alot tougher without this BB.
And I've learned so much about my hobby here

You do all the time. We're everywhere - you just don't know it.
This is a hobby that alot of men don't want to admit to. It's not as trendy as fly-fishing or as colorful as yachting. But as most of the wives will tell you, aside from the occasional ding to the charge accounts and space issues for some, it's one of the safest hobbies around from a woman's perspective.
It's alot like model building or model railroading, two other hobbies I like. Quiet, virtuous, simple, and a helluva lot more fun than drinking, womanizing, smoking, etc...

Whoa. I like my cardboard, too...but let's not go overboard here.
