Dumb question about Dansco

A while ago I was researching storage supplies to move some of my coins to a better place once and for all. After looking at the various possibilities, I decided on Dansco's archival super duper premium albums for my modern issue bullion coins (eagles, maples, libertads, etc). Anyway, I love the albums and the presentation, but I noticed they also sell an anti-corrosive sleeve for the albums which doesn't come with them standard. I thought the albums themselves with the plastic slipcovers were anti-corrosive. Is getting the sleeve really necessary, and what extra protection does it provide that the album itself doesn't?

Intercept Shield
Obviously I haven't used the corrosion preventative for long enough to assess its effectiveness, but from everything I've read the technology is sound. I think your coins will be safe for 15 years with either the Dansco sleeve or else the Intercept Shield album. Product literature indicates replacing the corrosive prohibitor after 15 years. I'll let you know in 11 years if this system works.

BONGO HURTLES ALONG THE RAIN SODDEN HIGHWAY OF LIFE ON UNDERINFLATED BALD RETREAD TIRES
The silver war nickel shows slight signs of rim toning which was not there prior.
Silver proofs I have in the modern page show signs of rim toning that was not there prior.
My T2 standing Liberty has color creeping onto the coin from the rim that was not there prior.
The MS Sac is darkening nicely around the rim, color that was not there prior.
Silver Roosie is developing faint, golden rim toning that was not there prior.
Clad Roosie is evenly golden toned across the whole coin, color that was not there prior.
Some coins in the album show no signs of tarnish what so ever; others seem to be toning at a relatively quick pace. All in all, the toning I'm seeing develop is welcomed, subtle, even, and all around pleasing to me. The album is stored in a dry, climate-controlled environment inside a freezer bag with the air sucked out.
I have no verdict regarding the slipcase other than I like it as a "holder" for the album, but use this information any way you wish. I've read peoples' comments their coins have toned, while others have not in a Dansco 7070. I've experienced both.
*spelling, yet again
I'm switching my three series to Intercept Shield. IS has their own type album coming out at the end of this month; my brand-new Dansco 7070 is going up on ebay.
I'm wondering if the coins that toned in the Danscos did so because they had existing oils on the coins before they went in? And the ones that didn't perhaps were never handled?
I like my bullion issues to be blast white. If they were bars I would think nothing of dipping them, but since they're coins I want to keep them bright white indefinately without doing any of that. Although, some of my eagles have started to tone (they dont tone well, unfortunately)...but I replaced them. If they did develope a nice tone I might not mind it. I've done all I can do. $20 Dansco plus a $8 sleeve. As long as I've done everything I could do, I won't worry too much. They'll do what they do!
