Canada Ten Cent 2000-P ?

I have a Canadian ten cent piece, and from pics on e-bay, I know it does not have the W mint mark. That's all the info I've been able to find so far....Do I have something good here?

The 2000P was not issued for circulation. Samples were given out to vending machine makers for testing. An MS 65 example lists for $500 CDN in my 20003 Charlton Standard Catalog Of Canadian Coins.
Looks like you've got a keeper.
<< <i>I'm catching on fast....So a dime marked WP would be a plated dime minted in Winnipeg? >>
Yes but as far as I now only a 2003 uncirculated set carried the WP mark.
Update on the 2000P the MS 65 example lists for $2,000 CDN in the 2007 Charlton Standard Catalog Of Canadian Coins.

Time to dig out my dimes from around the world, I suppose
It there is a P under the queen, it's plated steel, and quite valuable. If there's no P, it's made of nickel, and worth 10 cents (Canadian).

Yes. A "plain" 2000 10 Cents made entirely of nickel, a "2000W" also made of nickel and a 2000P in nickel-plated steel.
Estimated mintage of the 2000P is 200 total
