5 day registry special

I know it says five days...and I know its been there....more like 12-13 days....took PSA three days to log it in....called PSA yesterday and according to "PSA" the fifth day was yesterday....I was told it WOULD pop yesterday evening. It hasn't. Do I have any grounds for asking for a free submission out of this? Or does it fall into the whole no guarantee deal?

It's not a guaranteed service but I have never had one go over 5 BUSINESS days. yesterday was probably correct on the 5th bd with the holiday and weekends

My 5 day special took 7 business days. I checked every night and it showed up on the 7th business day. I can't remember the exact day, but say it posted on the 19th, but they said it posted on the 17th, which is an outright lie. But they make their own rules and we have to abide by them.

Edited to add: And yes, I took into consideration weekends and holidays.

I understand your pain and then some. But with all specials there is this disclaimer.

    Turnaround times vary with demand

Go back and look at the special posting for this. Its there.

I just had cards shipped back to me that were sent in for corrections due to mechanical errors. They logged them in on 10/31/06. It took calls and emails but finally a PM to someone that was able to get me the cards back. The kicker is that they had been corrected, they were just sitting somewhere. I knew this as I had been able to check the certs and see that they had changed.

    Understood.
And waiting 2 days longer is not a big deal. But to say they were posted for 2 days when they were not is just not right.
There is no point in advertising a 5 day turnaround if it can take longer.

"There is no point in advertising a 5 day turnaround if it can take longer."

That is spot on. There are so many disclaimers and fine print that in reality it's not a 5 day special. I would bet that if they offered a guaranteed 5 day special that was truly a guarantee, at a higher price, people would pay for it.
