Strange, unable to place a snipe on the bay item

Item number comes up invalid when entered. image WTF !

    does the seller have any other auctions running?
    when ebay "pulls" an item i know they will come up invalid like that.

    The auction was pulled for some reason. I've had auctions disappear on me for the most innocuous of reasons, with the rest of them staying on just fine.

    Try emailing the seller and see if he'll part with the item off-eBay image.

    Its the special software the seller installed in his auction which prevents sniping so you have to place a bid now so the other people you out bid have a chance to raise the price up up up!! image
