1992-D doubling

i have a 1992-D with somewhat clear doubling on the date, MM, and motto but i cant get a picture of it because i suck! the MM has some kind of "business" going on inside it looks like a diagonal line running NE to SW but it looks raised not gouged. Can't find any info on it at all anywhere so im thinking it may be a new discovery(that would be sweet). Anyone else have or seen anything like what i am describing? I will have my wife try to snap a better pic of it when she gets home since shes a photo technician.

Pic is only so-so cant clearly see the doubling in the motto maybe a little on the S in trust, definite thickness in LIBERTY and the MM is blurry as well..i just cant seem to be able to snap pics of shiny coins with my camera

also have a 1993-D with Lincoln's bust "doubled" looks almost like an outline but there definitely something there also appears on the date and MM

Hard to tell from the photo but initial reaction says machine or ejection doubling. Usually caused when one of the die becomes loose. The can happen anywhere on the coins surface either obverse or reverse. The thing to look for is a flat shelflike appearance on the doubled portion.

from what i know, it is not a hub doubled die, there is no seperation in the numbers. it looks like machine doubling of some sort (i'm no expert) but, it looks like the coveted 'cracked skull' variety

They usually have every variety listed with pictures.

It's a form of die wear common to zinc cents. There are a number of different examples from different years.

nothing on coppercoins website and i only bump the thread because it tends to get buried pretty quick in these forums, in 15 minutes it could be 3 pages away

you have 2 threads with 1992-D in 2 pages, it gets annoying, I search 10-15 pages back every day to offer advice, you are being a pain. Try it on the BST board and see how fast your post(all of them) get deleted. All you are doing is pushing other threads farther back, okay.
