WTB- XF Barber Quarters

I don't know what kind of response I'll get here, but here goes......

I need help finding decent XF Barber Quarters. I am not capable of buying a bunch at any one time on my teacher's salary. However, I can promise to be a long-time return customer if treated fairly.

Basically, I have most of the commons and some of the semi-keys. Anyone who is interested please PM.

I search almost everywhere electronically: Heritage, DLRC, TeleTrade, Ebay, and a myriad of dealer sites. So far, not too fruitful.

Needless-to-say the key dates will have to deter slightly below XF, like maybe ....... a good?

Anyway, thanks for reading my needs.

Best of luck Barbercoin with this endeavor. I thought about taking it on but the 01-S and 13-S are killers.

    Coast Guard Craig,

Hey thanks for the encouragement. However, it doesn't appear to be a popular series judging by the response I got. ??

I was hoping for a little more help here from the boards. I guess patience is the "watch word".

Thanks for serving..... I was kinda right there with you.... did 20+ years myself.... US Army

When I first started collecting Barber quarters, I contacted Liz Coggan of JJ Teaparty. She worked on my want list for years and always called me when she found a few coins I needed.

Over the course of many years she was able to locate most of the coins in my set.

Of course I also used other dealers and I too scoured the ads in Coin World, I got on countless price lists from many dealers, but I have to admit, without the help of a dedicated dealer, you won't get very far.

    Edited to add:

I hardly ever go to the BST Forum...maybe that's one reason for the lack
of timely responses. Or...maybe too many others are looking for the same
things you are and they don't want any more competition then there already is ?? !!
