I get to look through a collection this weekend

A while back (end of the last school year, I think) one of the local rabbis asked someone at MIT if they knew of anyone who could look through a collection of coins. For some reason, some people thought I might be interested image

Anyway, after a large number of schedule conflicts (and the coins having to be taken from NJ to MA) I'm finally going to see them on Sunday. I have no idea what to expect, but it should be fun. Plus, I'll probably get some good food image

This is a great expression of Trust in you by the someone at MIT and the rabbi. It is an opportunity for you to demonstrate your numusimatic expertise and reward that trust by providing an impartial assessment of the collection's grade and value based on your experience and numismatic acumen.

Believe me I have been there before. Take this opportunity to provide the best impartial advice and your reputation will grow. You may even have the opportunity to bid on future collections that you appraise as your reputation builds. So be patient, honest and impartial in your opinions and let the rest unfold its natural course. Congratulations! image
