What is the difference between "variety review" and "designation review"?

Please, someone help me. I have ONE 1955 Bugs Bunny Franklin that is raw and I want to get it into a PCGS slab with the "Bugs Bunny" designation. What would be the best way to get this done. I do have some other raw coins i want to send in too. Can I send the Bugs Franklin with the other raw coins? Do I use variety review or designation review? Sorry for all the Q's.

The review service is for coins already in a holder. Whether you can send it in with your other coins depends on the variety in question (I do not know how they handle this variety).

If it is one with it's own PCGS number (such as a 1955 Doubled Die cent), then you can send it in with the others. If is one they recognize using the variety service, then you have to send it in on it's own submission (or include the variety service on all the other coins @ $15 each)

I believe you need to send it seperate. Variety is for bugs bunny, double die, etc. BUT, the designation review is for cameo, Dcam, PL and DMPL only I believe. Ray

Designation review would also be for Full Steps, Full Bell Lines, Full head etc.
