What is a Dealers Margin on Rolls Of ASE

I was curious what a Dealers margin is when they buy a Mondo box of Sivler Eagles - Is it a Percentage of
Spot Price per coin and if so what would that be per roll. Reason I ask is I think I got a good deal recently
and was curious what the vendor had invested in this ... I paid $285 Delivered sounded like a good price to
me ... What say U

That is a good price, considering where Silver has been at.
These usually sell for $1-$1.50 over spot. So, just do the calculation on how many you got and what spot price for silver is/was.
Dealers usually don't make a ton, per coin, on these.....

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

My local dealer sells raw for $20 each, and MS69 First Strikes for $40

He makes a lot of dough.

The premiums we pay for current year coins from an offical Mint distributor vary over the course of a year from +$1.35 per coin to +$1.50, del'd.
What year were the coins? Older common ones are usually sold a little bit cheaper.

I'm sure the margin on a single is better than on a roll. I'd be surprised if it was much over 10% on a roll. There's a reason why a lot of dealers won't take credit cards for this stuff.

problem is that sometimes we lock em in early....if silver goes down a buck an ounce...so does the profits...... we sold em on the boards for $300...that price included the paypal cost and the insured shipping cost....local dealers around my area charge $16 each

If you buy wholesale lots of 500 from the big boys you still pay almost 1.50 over spot.
Most dealer keep these to keep customers happy not to make money on.

To calculate the ROLL price, multiply by 20.
