The cardsaver 1 is like 3.5x5"

While the smaller cardsaver is 3x4.5"

    I believe.

I don't think that kind of size difference is important but then again - talk to my wife! image

I don't think PSA recommends that you submit your cards in card saver II's.....I believe it's easier to take the card out of the card save I's.

  • go with the I's. The II's are too small for submissions.

  • Yup. You're right. Just did a check and PSA says: "PSA is not responsible for any damange to cards or tickets submitted in Card Saver IIs"

  • Card Saver II's are a PAIN to get cards into and out of. For my first PSA submission, I went and bought a bunch of loose Card Savers from a local shop. Turns out, it was a mix of I's and II's. If you can get the card past the lip without snagging a corner, then you have to contend with it getting "stuck" about half-way in and "shoving" it the rest of the way.

Stone193's wife is right, Card Saver I's are better image

I recently became a fan of Card Savers over top-loaders... I love how they hold the card in place and how you can store three times as many cards in a "shoebox."

What bugs me is that shops around here don't often carry I's or Ultra Pro's Tall Semi-Rigid equivalent. I finally gave up and bought a whole box off of a Beckett store.
Nolan Ryan & Edgar Martinez are my favorite players...
