I have quite a few with mouth problems, I don't see what you are showing on the reverse.

Look at her profile on the last leaves of the wreath, mouth lips and nose are present. On the obverse pic you can see the tip of leaf between her chin and lower lip.

OK hard to see the profile on the reverse but yes, I see it. I've got a number of those and they are amongst my favorite clashed Morgans.

Yes its one of those things you have to look for, I spotted it by accident myself. I love die clashes and have many. Dunno if its a VAM or not, haven't looked at the pups.

It's an 1884 Philly, I don't think these clash marks alone would have a VAM number attributed to them.

You would have a VAM designation if there was discernable letter transfer on either surface. There is probably a line coming out of Liberty's neck often there is an n transferred from the reverse to the obverse. That would consitute a collectible VAM. Check Vamworld. The VAM 2A is a clashed die coin in 1884.

Yes there is a small clash on the neck. I will post a full head on obverse and reverse.

You can see the clash in the Eagles neck and in the top of the wreath to our right. There is some faint clashing under the tail feathers between them and the ribbon as well as die polishing seen inside and around the bow.

Some doubling on PLURIBUS and date as well as the neck clash and above the right second star and hair vee.

I thought the 2A had a dash under the second 8, this one doesn't that I can see.

I just picked that one as example. I don't know what VAM you have other than 1; certainly it is strongly clashed. You might check Ashmore's updates. The clash is obvious between the Eagle's neck and the wing as well and it looks like the right (viewer's right) wreath is doubled clashed. The clash under the tailfeathers may be a capital E transfer from the obverse, always a collectible feature.

Thanks I checked the site, unfortunately the clash that could be an E is just to faint. Anyway I always appreciate the advice.

There are a few 1884 clashes. Doesn't look like a 2A there nor the one with the S curl scratch at the hairline (forget the number momentarily). Almost all of the ones I run into are clashed VAM-8, like VAM-8B. I don't even bother picking them up anymore.

The mouth clash I like aesthetically is when the rotation and clash were just right to make it look like Liberty has a toothpick in her mouth.
