I was looking at some 1988 Score cards the other day, and noticed that on Ken Giffey Sr's card, Ken Jr is mentioned in the flavor text as having been the #1 draft pick. That got me thinking....
Are there any other notable early mentions of future stars on the flavor text of cards before their actual rookie cards are released?
Or, better yet, any pre-rookie card apperances of players in the picture (either in the background, or part of the action around the main subject)?
