My favorite Mercury

Just wanted to share this freshly graded Merc with everyone. Came in at MS67. It has some of the best toning of any coin in any series I own. A lot of subtle colors going on that are hard to tell from the picture...golds, russet/orange, greens, pinks, etc. Amazing that PCGS price guide only lists this at $56. I wouldn't sell it for anything less than $250, it's that nice. Just goes to show that money isn't everything...wait a minute, we're coin collectors, so I guess it is! Enjoy.

Very nice 38 Merc. I love the color on that little "keeper". Looks like a rock solid 67.

To me, the full bands designation is overrated. It's not like this coin isn't well struck! I think the full steps designation for Jeffersons is more significant, because that is truly an indication of how well struck the coin is.
