Got a registry question

I received a new Brett Butler for my registry today, but when I went in to edit, I got this message:
Cert number 06550264 does not have a spec number (id#) associated with it in this set.
A certification number may be missing a spec number if it is the first card of its type graded by PSA or in the case of player and HOF sets, is the first card of its type added to the set. In some cases, the cert number may have been assigned an incorrect spec number in the PSA database.
An automatic email has been sent to Set Registry customer service. Please allow 1 business day for the spec number to be added to the set composition before attempting to add the item again. Thank you.
When I went to check my set (basic & master) composition, the card in question doesn't appear as part of either. Why would PSA fail to include it? Is this a common occurence? I'm not up in arms about it - this is just so I understand more how PSA works. Thanks in advance.

This happens with player sets where nobody has requested the card to be added yet.......it's pretty much added automatically if the card fits the set guidelines.

This is the part that applies to your card most likely.
