PSA buyback policy??

Has anyone ever dealt with PSA on a buyback policy before??? If a card is slabbed with a grade that is obviously much higher than deserved, then how does PSA handle this? Will they stand behind it and buy the card back? If so, what amount determines how much they will buy the card back for? SMR? image

asphalt - On one ocassion PSA bought back a card from me. It was
the wrong card in the slab. I think I was dealing with Charlie, who
told me "He will take care of it." He was pretty persistant about
offering me some free submissions. After explaining to him that I
had no cards to submit (at that time), he also offered cash compensation.
(A little less, but I took it) So, yes they will stand behind their grade,
and will buy back. Also I remember Charlie asking me how much I paid
for the card. (Which was about SMR for the flip)

P.S. - Please keep in mind this was awhile back. (About 8-10 years)
