AFC Game, reffing?

Im non biased here, but I would say the Pats have a small gripe, Reche "Bugeye" Caldwell was interfered with in the end zone, after he made that drop when nobody was covering him (wow that was huge), and the Manning roughing on the winning drive that gave them like half the distance to the goal, bs he didnt even toss him down, his hands barely shook Mannings head back. Anyways, I just hate the refs screwing a good game up, especially after last years Superbowl fiasco.

The DB turned around and he has a right to the ball as much as Caldwell. It looked bad on TV, but they said that the DB didn't interfere with his ability to catch the ball. If I recall that pass was high and going out of bounds anyways.

As for the roughing the passer call, the NFL protects the QBs. Brady would have gotten the same call.

I don't think the refs screwed up anything. It was a great game and the Colts earned the win.

A defensive player touches the QB's helmet area when he's in the pocket, then the D player is gonna get a flag - the refs have been consistent with this all season.

The good/bad calls went both ways. On the Colts' previous drive (a 3 & out) Seymour whacked Manning in the helmet right after the ball was thrown and there was no flag. It was 10 times worse than the one he was called on. If the refs ever want to fix a game, all they have to do is call holding on one team or the other. That penalty can be called on any play without much of a dispute.

I heard some talk before the game that the head ref was notorious for making bad calls in favor of the Pats. The game had its fair share of bad calls/no calls for both teams.

I was happy for the most part about the refs, they did their job. The Colts just flat out beat us.
