When ANACS gives a "Details" grade...
with no disclaimer such as cleaned, corroded, scratched, etc. what does this mean?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Actually, they stopped giving a net grade, and just gave a "details" grade with no mention of the reason for "netting".

I'd like to know exactly when they started this, because after James Taylor took over, I sent in several problem coins and all of them have the reason they were netted. Yes, they stopped giving net grades unless you requested it, but they always list the reason for a details grade. I am willing to bet the coin posted by the OP was done in error. In other words, as someone else said, the coin looks cleaned and they forgot to put that on there.

I think so. I just got a coin back for ANACS this past week graded F-12 Details-Cleaned.
From the pic, my guess is a light cleaning.
