wrong, bought a ton, but, everytime many of us hold out for the top....we get caught in the downturn

my point was that many are pushing prices too quick, they'll probably get there soon-but not yet.

It's not the first time I've been wrong. It wont be the last. I have two one oz. ones at PCGS right now. Baring a family need, I plan on keeping mine for some time reguardless of the conditions of the market. I think the money is probably better sitting in them as it is sitting in a 5% savings account. Time will tell.

While it is true that the plats have risen too fast,

and over the next year or two, may decline appreciably,

I believe that over time, the Plats will prove to be a wonderful

long term holding. If you can hold for 3-5 years you are home free,

If for some reason you can not hold, then It would be best to

    get out now.

Nothing goes straight up. There will likely be pullbacks. Whether they are temporary or not remains to be seen. They may just be buying opportunities.

that said, this thread is inappropriate here and should be removed.

Do I expect a pullback at some point? Yes. Am I going to sell in an attempt to find the top before the pullback, or even on the way down before it finds a bottom? No.

I bought them because I like the potential, and the potential is based upon the mintage numbers, plus the bullion content. I am happy to wait. I will sell some of my other coins, you know - some of that classic stuff - and I will hold onto the stuff that has the most potential, in my opinion of course.

Tulips? Anyone? If anyone has some of these Eagles, I will trade my tulip bulbs for them. Anyone?
