How well do these generally cross?

I have a 1900 s dollar in a MS65 holder from Paramount. Looks more like a 63 or 64 to me though.

Most red pack Redfield dollars marked MS65 are usually somewhere between MS62 - MS63 with a very few better.

Most are lower than 65. Most folks keep them in the original holder, because they sell for a good premium over an equivalent coin in a PCGS holder.

The one big positive is that in the original holders, the coins are generally unmessed with. Same with GSAs.
