1926 S Nickel I settled on this one.

imageimage

I grade it as a F obv/VG rev.

I paid a lil more thenthe 40.00 that i wanted to. 50.00 delivered.

Guy claims it is original, so we will see.

I agree with the grade and from the pics I think you did well...many that grade VG or F in the date have an unreadable "19" in the date....sometimes because of weak striking, sometimes due to wear.,,,yours is a pretty clear full date. Let us know how is looks in hand. Nice one.

Geez, those surfaces are remarkably free of dings for a coin in that circ. condition! Well done.

    Thanks guys.

The '19' in the date is very important to me. All my circ buffs in my collection must have a full date.

Very nice 26-S. I like it.

The hardest ones for me to find with full clear dates has been the 25-D and 25-S. Go figure...

That's a really nice, circulated Buffalo. I like the look.

Me too, in fact the last hole in my album was for the 1925-D because i was looking for a full date also.( And i put my set together in the 1970's) This is not an easy coin to find with a full date and even in higher grades and uncs sometimes the "19" is very weak.

I think that one is worth the fifty dollars. I agree that they are very few distractions for a coin that well circulated.

I agree regarding the 25 D and S my two examples are the weakest within my set. Luckily I paid nothing for them. Those 2 are among the few that I will be upgrading.

    thanks for the replies.

Yes, I've seen a 1925-D slabbed AU that the 19 in the date was very weak. When I find a 1925-D with a full date, I buy it if it's reasonably priced.

FOR THE GRADE A PERMIUM COIN WITH OUTSTANDING SURFACES. NO NICKS OR DINGS. FOR FORTY BUCKS THIS IS A GREAT ADDITION TO A SET OF BUFFALOES. BUFFNIXX
