my proof sov, properly imaged (Thanks RobertPR!!), and something odd, what do you think?

I can't generate images close to some people who post at the CU.
Here is my erstwhile unc, now proof coin from chard, imaged via RobertPRVision !!!

not too shabby eh ?

I was going to send this guy to the CU for grading and to protect it for posterity. I thought it looked perfect to my eye, but the images never lie. Check out the N in Regina, I thought to myself, dammit, a smudge, how could I have missed that ?

here is my image, if you look you can see the faint landmark here too:

RPR indicates that under high mag (x30) this actually appears to be a raised area on the coin, lightly frosted, so the coin is actually as struck by the flawed die? Bizzare. Changes of PCGS seeing it and just thinking smudge? I dunno, time will tell.

Anyway, I just wanted to show off the image image Thanks RPR !!!!! image

Hyperion - Robert's photo is absolutely outstanding, it takes a lot of patience to get the photos that good. And, all exceptional photos start with exceptional subjects - your coin is exceptional.
