1923-D PEACE...EXTRA HAIR???

Has anyone seen one of these before?

Loks like VAM 1E based on the die break on the bun of the hair. The one on the rest of the hair isn't listed, even though it's bigger. This could be a later die state and would definitely be worth sending to Leroy Van Allen for revision. Peaceman should chime in soon.

Thanks messydesk. The obverse shows die cracking everywhere. It's amazing that it didn't just fall apart.
