Rules for my set of 20:

1. All coins are US, dated 1933 or earlier.
2. No TPG slabs are allowed. Can be purchased slabbed but would have to be "cracked out" for inclusion.
3. $2000 (plus or minus a few percent) total purchase price. Minimum price of any one coin is $20. Maximum price of any one coin
is $1620 (19 x $20+$1620=$2000, for example).
4. All coins to be in original, unmessed-with condition. Cleaned, AT, etc. are to be avoided.
5. Set must contain at least three each of the following denominations: cent, nickel (or half-dime), dime, quarter. Twelve coins here.
6. Set must contain at least two of the denominations to be chosen from: 1/2 cent, 2 cent, 3 cent, 20 cent. Two coins here.
7. Other six coins are "open." Could be halves, dollars, commemoratives, gold coin, etc. Six coins here.
8. Balance of the total composition is the watchword while building this box. It's about the history, appreciation for the designs, etc., not the money to acquire and/or lofty grades.

Four coins I consider "worthy" of my set currently, 16 to go:
1. Lincoln cent, au. ($50)
2. Seated dime w/stars, xf. ($75)
3. "CC" Morgan dollar, GSA holder w/box, unc. ($250)
4. Seated dime w/legend, xf. ($35)

Looks like it's gonna be tough for me to stay in budget...

Disclaimer: I'm not the sheriff.
