Good luck Trot Nixon

Trot Nixon signed with the Tribe (a one year deal) I remember Trot being signed by the Sox for a $50,000 bonus years ago, Trot never put up "glamorous" numbers but his scrappy style of play will be missed.

    Saw Trot here in SW FL for a rehab stint two years ago with the Bosox Single A team from Sarasota. Think they have moved since then.

    He smoked a couple of pitches, one for a double and made the kids look like Little Leaguers.

    Yep. Best of luck to a true Boston Dirtdog. He'll really be missed out there in the rightfield.

    I wonder who will play more games this year? Drew or Trot?
    Might be a toss up...Nixon is coming off an injury plagued year... and well, every year is an injury plagued year for Drew.

    I'm not sure what Boston has been trying to do since 2004. The moves they have made are very dubious...
