I had a dream about the Super Bowl last night...

Not making this up, I actually did have a dream.

Somehow I got tickets and at halftime the Bears were leading the Colts 20-17.

The dream ended at that point.

An omen perhaps? probably not but kind of interesting anyway.

Yeah, I had a dream I was watching the SB last night too, only I was naked and in the sack with Jenna Jameson and some other blonde I couldn't identify. Not sure what the score was and who was actually playing. I do remember I could care less at the time.

  • Yes, winning is what counts, but to heap the priase on Grossman 'for taking his team to the Super Bowl' is wrong. How many forced fumbles or fumble recoveries did Grossman have? How many tackles? Grote, while it is true that people 'measure' QB's by titles, it is equally true that it is an extremely faulty and wrong measurement.

I'm sitting there watching Manning after they had the big TD drive, where he did all you could ask of a QB, yet the camera is on him and he is SITTING ON THE BENCH with his head down, with his 'fate' resting in the hands of 11 guys that he has absolutely no control over what happens. Yet, he would ultimately be measured largely in part on hte outcome of that last drive of which he had no control over. Foolishness!

I was thinking the same thing at the same time: that if the Colts D gave up another miracle to Saint Tom in that last minute, Peyton would again get the "playoff choker" label thrown at him even though he did what he had to do in the clutch -- and this time, that label would be unquestionably affixed unfairly and undeservedly.

I think I am hearing "Twilight zone" music right now.

If I finish the dream before the super bowl I will let you all know what happens.
