A circ find today...1964 Quarter

I have a question about this coin. It looked odd when I got it in change, and the edge is all silver with no copper showing. Is this how all of them were made? It looks like a very nice grade as well. I will post pictures shortly.

    its 90% silver. that was the last year for silver circulating coins.

    its worth keeping if in nice condition but not rare.

    Keep it the silver is worth >$2 alone. Not much value beyond that but still neat find and rare in circulation.
