One just sold for $1995 as a BIN on E-bay. There's another BIN for $2600 or so. Hard to find lately unless in a set. Good luck. Ray

Very surprised at the 1995. bin, probably someone hard up to complete a 70 set.....since the average selling price thru about 7 auctions has been no greater than 1250.

Check out E-bay # 230083006003. It's a 2006 W PCGS MS 70 $25 paltinum for a BIN of $2199.95. It's the cheapest one I see on E-bay for right now. Perhaps he might consider an offer and save fees? Just trying to help. I don't know what the future holds, but, if the $25 is really the KING, then, it would be a good buy at this level? I'm only trying to help, I have no connection to any seller for any platinum coins at all. I might even be searching for the rest of the coins for my set. I at least have the box and the $25 coin, isn't that a good start? LOL Good luck. Ray

Sorry for the confusion, I have no soapbox, they are too difficult to carry around.

I was no longer looking to purchase that specific coin, as i paid a price that existed in the markerplace. I was merely pointing out that your expected price was somewhat low, and if you happened upon it, I would certainly be in the market for as many as possible at that price. My response should not have surprised you, because frankly, everyone on the boards would be also.

So, next time, just appreciate the free TTT

Thanks for the response, but, remember when someone puts out a buy price - that is what they are willing to pay to carry the coin, turn it for a small profit. It would be great if all could pay full retail for coins, but as you know, there would be nothing left for the middleman.

Additionally, when a forum member wants to point out that they would buy "as many as they could get" at a price north of the other members thread....they should open thier own thread for a WTB.

There is a certain etiquette to uphold here, I see many WTB posts that aren't even close to the coins true value, but I dont publicly post or indicate that they "should pay more".
