Did not buy a thing in Mile High's auction last night

Always a bridesmaid, never a bride. I was looking at some hockey sets and somebody wanted them real bad.

    After getting the 4th email from them of the day trying to hype their auction, I sent them the following email:

    =======================
    Please remove me from your email and catalog mailing lists, as the 4 emails received today are totally uncalled for. Between the incessant spamming and questionable business practices (removed lots, etc.), I have no desire to ever do business with you or your company, and will be sure to inform other collectors as well. Congratulations, you have lost at least 1 potential customer and consignor.
    =======================

    Sure enough, this morning I get another email from them, talking about what a success the auction was, but that invoices sent out may have incorrect shipping totals and that there were some incorrect invoices due to single lots actually having been sold as a set.

    I did win this one. It is a 1/3 in PSA 10, but with the juice/shipping it was only $218. I am a sucker for that set. I love the old logos at the bottom.

    I thought the same thing about the emails, but I wonder what the deal with those lots was? I noticed them last night, and had to look through my catalogue to find out what they were.

    Looking for Jonny Gomes cards, especially Triple Threads and printing plates. Will consider all cards, though. Got something? Contact me at c_u_l_1@yahoo.com
