Question about PCGS
Greetings all,
I have been a member of these boards for almost a year and really enjoy reading all the posts.
So I was able to get 3 of the 20th Silver 3 coin sets and still have them in the box I got from the Mint. My question is what is the best
way to get these certified by PCGS? I have never sent in a coin to get certified and would like some advice. My thinking is I would sell them
to make some money to buy more Morgans..or a St. Gaudens gold coin.
Thank you,
JB

Put your mint box in another box and send to PCGS with submission form.
Send as "modern service" submission and add $2.00 per set to get the mint set box and COA back.
Use USPS registered or Express Mail.......use reinforced brown tape on all seams if sent registered.
You will get the 20th anniversay designation because your mint box is sealed.
I know it sounds risky but there are several well respected dealers that post here.
If you are uncomfortable with that, a membership at the Silver Level will get you submission priviledges ($49.95 per year).
