    How about Gilbert Arenas? Or Steve Nash? Dirk? All are just as, if not more likely to win the MVP.

    There is no former NBA MVP who is not in the HOF. Basketball MVP's are never flashes in the pan. To be MVP of that league is a mark of historic greatness, unlike any other sport. There are no fluke MVPs.

    I don't think they will give it to Nash for a third time. Arenas or Bryant this year...
