Not knowing anything about Maundy sets, I assume they were issues both in business strikes and matte proofs? How many years was that the case?

Ah neat. I like the Maundy Sets, nice history to them too.
    Prost!

Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.

Are the colours nice? These Eddie maundies are often very beautifully toned, but I can't tell from your photo. image

Could you expain what is a business strike? Is it a normal strike as for circulation, if so maundy coin are usually proof-like.

1902 had both a normal proof like issue and a matt proof issued in the 2 sets £5-1d no copper and £1-1d again no copper. There are other years with matt/sandblasted issues all extremely rare 1953 being one.

I just need the 1910 1d to make the complete run from 1900 to 1912.
